CORBIN, KY – July 5, 2025 – On July 4th, 2025 at 3:44 p.m. Kentucky State Police Post 11 London was notified of a female suffering from a medical emergency on the Moonbow Trail near Cumberland Falls in Whitley County, KY.
Upon arrival of Troopers to the scene, preliminary investigation determined that the female Domnesha Scott, 32 years old of Indiana, had suffered a medical emergency while hiking the trail and pronounced deceased on the scene by the Whitley County Coroners Office. The remains were transported to the Medical Examiners and an autopsy is pending.
Trooper Kyle Trosper is continuing the ongoing investigation. He was assisted on scene by KSP Post 11 Personnel, State Park Rangers, Whitley County Coroners Office, and fire personnel.
