Conducts on-site examinations of scenes involving arson related offenses to collect physical evidence, photographs, and sketches of scenes. Performs basic commercial grade explosive materials handling and hazardous materials mitigation. Arrests and interrogates suspects. - Education:
High School Graduate or GED.
- Experience:
Possess at least Seven years of law enforcement, police, criminal, fire, or arson investigation experience. Must possess a Kentucky Peace Officer Professional Standards (POPS) certification.s
- Special Requirements

Compensatory leave is available in lieu of paid overtime. In instances where candidates are required to work holidays they will accrue Comp time.
