Troopers went on scene near the intersection of Scottsville Road and Austin Tracy Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A preliminary investigation indicates that a black 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, operated by Jamie Morgan, 37, of Scottsville was traveling south on Scottsville Road when a deer entered the roadway. Ms. Morgan\u2019s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a black 2022 Chevrolet Blazer operated by John Furlong, 35, of Glasgow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 17, 2026, a juvenile that was an occupant in Ms. Morgan\u2019s vehicle succumbed to his injuries at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation is being led by Trooper Grant Robertson. \u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p># # #<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GLASGOW, KY (March 06, 2026) \u2013 At approximately 5:00 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green received a call about an injury collision.
