{"id":55999,"date":"2026-02-17T11:32:49","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T16:32:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kentuckystatepolice.ky.gov\/?p=55999"},"modified":"2026-02-19T08:34:46","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T13:34:46","slug":"p2-2-17-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kentuckystatepolice.ky.gov\/news\/p2-2-17-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Kentucky State Police Post 2 Investigates Fatal Collision in Muhlenberg County"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>MADISONVILLE, Ky.<\/strong> <strong>(February 17, 2026)<\/strong> \u2013 Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 2 was contacted on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at approximately 7:00 AM CT by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff&#8217;s Office and requested to investigate a fatal collision near the 6500 block of KY Highway 81 in Sacramento, Kentucky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preliminary investigation indicates that a minivan, operated by Brandi Eaves, 48, of Powderly, Kentucky, was traveling southbound on KY 81 when it collided with the rear of a dump trailer being hauled by a Chevrolet Silverado.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brandi Eaves was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroner.
