Brown<\/strong>, age 48, of Vine Grove, Kentucky, in connection with a domestic violence incident that occurred in Meade County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday,&nbsp;<strong>February 7, 2026, at approximately 12:06 a.m.<\/strong>, KSP Post 4 received a report of domestic violence from the victim, who was located at a Dollar General in Meade County. Hager reported that she had been strangled during an altercation and fell from a vehicle, striking her head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the incident, Brown fled the scene and returned to his residence on&nbsp;<strong>Jennings Knob Road in Meade County<\/strong>. Troopers responded to the residence, but Brown refused to exit. A search warrant and arrest warrant were subsequently obtained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Kentucky State Police Special Response Team<\/strong>&nbsp;responded and executed a search warrant at the residence. Brown was taken into custody without incident at approximately&nbsp;<strong>7:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brown was charged with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Strangulation, 1st Degree (Domestic Violence)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assault, 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) \u2013 Minor Injury<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trooper Sam Bogner<\/strong>&nbsp;is continuing the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p># # #<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VINE GROVE, Ky.&nbsp;(February 7, 2026)&nbsp;\u2013Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 4 arrested&nbsp;Donald R.
