He has been lodged in the Floyd County Detention Center and is currently charged with Murder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Original News Release below:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BEAVER, Ky.<\/strong>&nbsp;(November 21, 2025) \u2013&nbsp;The Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post received a call from Prestonsburg 911 on Friday, November 21, 2025, requesting assistance regarding an unresponsive female in the Beaver community of Floyd County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>KSP troopers and investigators responded to the 14000 block of Kentucky Route 979 where they discovered a deceased female.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initial investigation indicated Sarah Slone, 35 years old of Beaver,&nbsp;suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene by&nbsp;Floyd County Coroner\u2019s Office.
