Safety Town<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For more than 60 years, the Kentucky State Police has managed the Safety Town exhibit at the Kentucky State Fair. Safety Town is an interactive exhibit geared toward children as a way to introduce traffic safety and build rapport with law enforcement. As children enter Safety Town, they will participate in a short briefing by a trooper or officer about traffic safety. Children select a pedal car and hit the driving course to apply what they learned when encountering stop signs and traffic signals. After completing the course, children earn a custom-made driver\u2019s license and a treat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kentucky State Police are enhancing Safety Town by customizing its buildings and streets with companies that operate in the Commonwealth. There are several sponsorship opportunities to view below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
